Chaz, the signature restaurant of the historic Raphael Hotel, announces today that its dining room will reopen on Friday, June 26. Until then, the restaurant will continue offering curbside pickup, as well as 24-hour in-room dining for hotel guests. “We decided to make the best of the situation and use the dining room shutdown as a chance to get some renovations done,” said Jordan Carver, the Director of Food and Beverage at Chaz. “At this time, we feel it's best to focus on the work we're doing in the restaurant, while still offering a variety of curbside pickup options.” Carver said. Since the mandated closure, new carpeting, paint, wallpaper, and light fixtures were installed at Chaz. New bar stools should arrive soon, too, with even more updates in the works. “We can't wait to show off the new and improved Chaz on June 26 and think our guests are going to love it,” Carver said. In the meantime, Chaz is still open daily for curbside pickup and features a variety of special packages including weekend brunch to-go, wine dinner kits for two, cocktails to-go, and more. To order curbside pickup, guests can call Chaz at 816-802-2152. For more information, visit www.raphaelkc.com/chazontheplaza.
