Historic Kansas City Union Station & Science City Hands-On Museum

Fully restored, this 1914 landmark train station is now a preeminent destination for entertainment and cultural activities. It’s home to restaurants and shops, plus railroad and museum exhibitions, a theater and planetarium. Kansas City Union Station is also the location of Science City, an interactive museum for children and adults. You can also see giant-screen movies and visit the Irish Museum and Cultural Center and the Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity.

    You can park at the four-level parking garage located on the west side of Union Station, which is accessible via Broadway Street. You’ll also find limited parking available in front of Union Station.
  • How long should guests allow for a visit?

    You’ll want to allow the better part of a day to visit this expansive attraction, including Science City, the Planetarium and the King Tut Exhibit.
